biography

I’m a heritage consultant and graphic designer, and enjoy taking on creative problems of various kinds. In the past this has included subjects such as housing, architectural history, urban development, historic building conservation, transport, teaching and consultancy. I’ve created publications, photography, websites, branding, maps, icons, illustrations and presentations. I currently work as conservation officer for Nottingham City Council and am partner in The History Studio, a heritage consultancy business that provide various services, such as heritage impact assessments and conservation area appraisals. I've also taught at The University of Nottingham and Lincoln University.
